Circle & Shield

Honoring community heroes

Safe & Secure

Cingo means to surround and secure — to protect. That’s what we do. And we have a lot of respect for those who take it upon themselves to make protection a part of what they do, too. That’s why we’ve launched Circle & Shield, our award to those who help make the world a better place, a safer place.

The Cingo Way

Each month, Cingo’s team members will select a community member to receive our Circle & Shield award, and we’ll share their story. It’s the Cingo way of honoring some of the quiet heroes in our community.

Meet the Honorees

Cingo is proud to honor Lyle Gordon of Douglas with the Circle & Shield award for his efforts to create safe spaces with projects like building access ramps and repairing chairs.

If someone needs help, Lyle Gordon gives it. And at age 85, he’s not even close to slowing down.

Who helps make your world more safe and secure? They are our future Circle & Shield honorees. The high school student fighting bullying. The volunteer collecting infant items for mothers in need. The retired gentleman repairing playground equipment. We’re looking for ordinary people making extraordinary contributions.
